BLACK
CAT

Design by Thierry Garance

Perfectly suited to the pace of modern life, the Drop Paper® cat sculpture will be your faithful companion that you can take anywhere.
With its striking presence, it combines the benefits of not scratching your brand-new couch with the ability to fold flat into a thin disc so it can follow you to the four corners of the world. The result of extensive research, this new sculpting process creates a flexible honeycomb structure composed of numerous sheets of paper that are cut and then glued together.  This form is unstable and subject to gravity, as it is the pre-stretched paper that is sculpted. The material is flexible, springy, and deformable. The properties of Drop Paper® provide rigidity and strength far superior to that of ordinary paper.

This sculpture by Thierry Garance was produced following the “PAPER WONDER” exhibition, which took place at the Procédé Chenel showroom in April 2025.
