Multiply partnerships and foster ingenuity to promote the scraps, cuts and rejects of Procédés Chénel.

During the summer of 2014, Sophie Larger invited Sophie Chénel to bring together some twenty artists to explore the possibilities of creative revaluation of the rejects and losses from her production workshop, with the ambition of presenting all the creations at the Maison & Objet fair in January 2015.

The first physical meeting took place at the end of September in the Chénel Procédés workshops. The artists exchange and dialogue with the artisans; they learn to read the properties of DROP Paper® material and consider new potentials for use. The project started quickly, the very varied proposals were added to each other: the applications imagined ranged from lighting to kites.
