ENGAGEMENTS RESPONSABLES PCI

Procédés Chénel is really committed to environmental and social issues. Even if our materials, considered as "papers", can quickly be looked at as disposable, which can discourage some of you, once compared to more traditional architectural or event materials, were it for their weight only, they win by far!
We also are Imprim'vert certified.
We collaborate with rehabilitation workshops for some production lines, and we are actively working on the question of recycling Drop Paper® at the end of its life...

SO PAPER, THE PROJECT

To multiply partnerships and to favor ingenuity to increase the value of Procédés Chénel waste.
During the summer 2014, Sophie Larger offered Sophie Chénel to gather about 20 artists to explore the possibilities of creatively re-valorizing production waste, with the goal of presenting all the results during the Maison&Objet fair in January 2015.
The first meeting helped the artists to understand how the workshops work, what the materials are made out of and what their properties are, in order for them to come up with new ideas. The project picked up from there, and the artists' proposals turned out very varied, for many potential uses, from lamps to kites.

MYSTER-Y GREEN BOX

Within the framework of various actions to recycle production waste, Procédés Chénel launches the MYSTER-Y GREEN box.

It contains approximately 1 cubic meter of paper waste, with various colors and sizes. Its cost is of 15 euros all taxes included, transportation fee excluded. PROCÉDÉS CHÉNEL commits to give back the full amount of the box value to the Clowns Without Borders Association.

A great opportunity to create with materials living a second life, and let yourself be guided by chance!
